Product Information

FCO is an EN 12101-2 certified louvred ventilator that provides natural inlet or extract ventilation and smoke control for industrial and commercial buildings. Available in a wide range of sizes, louvre materials and control options, FCO can be integrated into curtain walling, glazing systems or prepared wall openings. Its flexible configuration, robust construction and proven performance make it suitable for both day-to-day ventilation and emergency smoke exhaust applications.

Base Options

The flange for installation into the façade can be attached to the base of the unit in various positions, which means that it can be decided whether the FCO protrudes out from the façade or is integrated flush with the façade.

Louvres

The FCO is available with the following louvre variants:

  • 9 mm thick clear or opaque polycarbonate multi-wall sheet
  • Single skin aluminum
  • Double skin aluminum insulated or uninsulated
  • 7 mm thick wired glass

6 mm thick laminated or toughened safety glass

Controls

The FCO louvred ventilator is either opened or closed manually, electrically, pneumatically or by a combination of electric motor and pneumatic cylinder. Single or double operations can be used.

The following drives are available:

  • Manual controls (cable or drive coupling)
  • 24 V DC spring return actuators
  • 230 V AC spring return actuators
  • 24 V DC electric actuators
  • 230 V AC electric actuators
  • Single action pneumatic cylinder
  • Double action pneumatic cylinder
  • Combination: pneumatic cylinder and electric actuator
Installation

Designed for seamless integration into façade systems, FCO is available with a range of flange and mounting options to suit different wall constructions and project requirements, helping simplify installation on site.

  • Reliability day-to-day ventilation: 10 000 cycles
  • Wind load class: 1500 N/m² up to 4000 N/m²*
  • Operating temperature: T(00) / T(-05) / T(-15) / T(-25)*
  • Resistance to heat: B300
  • Reaction to fire: E or Bs2,d0*
