Each unit is manufactured in the UK and can be customised to suit your project requirements, including enhanced rain defence, airflow and noise reduction. Our expert team supports orders from initial design and specification right through to installation, ensuring a seamless experience.

Our range of external louvres

Colt external louvres provide a low-maintenance solution for a diverse range of projects, from cladding stadiums to providing effective sound reduction on industrial applications. Each unit is available with a range of customisation options and finishes, allowing them to be tailored to your aesthetic and performance requirements.

Colt universal louvre - 1UL

Our single bank 1UL louvre provides a stylish solution for screening or cladding applications where rain defence isn’t a key priority. The units are available with shallow (50 mm), (75 mm) or deep (100 mm) blade angles to suit design preferences and provide a durable and easy-to-install option for outdoor spaces.

Colt universal louvre - 2UL

The versatile 2UL louvre features a double-bank design, allowing it to deliver both high airflow performance and a good degree of rain defence. The unit is available with shallow or deep front louvre pitch options and can achieve a coefficient class 3 in accordance with EN 13030.

Colt universal louvre - 3UL

For applications where managing driving rain is a priority, our 3UL louvre provides our highest level of defence. Featuring a triple bank design, with shallow and deep front louvre pitch options, these units provide effective air flow and are well-suited to applications such as rooftops, where they will be exposed to significant wind-driven rain.

Colt acoustic louvre modules - CALM

Colt Acoustic Louvre Modules (CALM) blend superior acoustic performance with effective airflow. Suitable for use with our full range of Universal Louvres or completely standalone, these panels can help to effectively reduce noise transmission in challenging applications, such as industrial plants. Their compact design also supports improved space optimisation.

FAQs

What are external louvres?

Louvres offer a practical and adaptable option for a range of external applications. These can include providing natural ventilation and rain defence for plant equipment, limiting noise transmission in industrial applications, offering effective solar shading in building facades, and providing discreet screening around areas such as roof terraces.

What are external louvres made from?

External louvres are typically supplied in aluminium or steel. We can manufacture our louvres with a wide range of finishes, including mill and anodised aluminium and polyester powder coating. These finishes allow the units to blend seamlessly with the building design whilst also providing enhanced durability for lasting performance in challenging external applications.

How do I choose the right louvre system for my building?

Our expert louvre team has decades of experience supporting the design and delivery of louvres across a range of projects. We can help to guide you through the key design choices and performance considerations to find the optimal louvre solution for your project.
